Indians at a British restaurant

This is from a British sketch comedy show called “Goodness Gracious Me” some of it is lame but there are a lot of funny parts.

From Wikipedia

One of the more famous sketches featured the cast “going out for an English” after a few lhassis. They mispronounce the waiter’s name, order the blandest thing from the menu (apart from one of them, who opts for the safer option of a curry) and ask for 24 plates of chips. This parodies the often-drunk English people “going out for an Indian”, ordering chicken phall and too many papadums. This sketch was recently voted the 6th Greatest Comedy Sketch.

There is a lady in my computer!

Not kidding… check this out. I spent way too long staring at her/it. Its amazingly realistic, in fact Andrew thought it was a video chat when he saw it from across the room. I think its actually 3D rendered to some degree to achieve the head rotation. It scales really well even with the browser window at full screen, I can only notice a bit of deterioration in her hair textures.

My only problem with it is the goofy smile she has every once in a while, no human smiles like that.

CUBOCC Lady

[UPDATE] So it seems like a Japanese company is responsible for this, their website is http://www.motionportrait.com/ but I cant read any of it.

Leap Year Kittens

If a kitten is born on February 29 will it stay a kitten four times longer than other kittens? Think about it….
